The Heart Wide Open is more than just an idyllic name expressing a possibility for how to live in this world, it s a vision and a prayer for humanity and the earth as a whole. These mantras are spiritual tools for cleaning up the mind. The traditions and lineages from which they’ve come have practiced these methods of self transformation for 1000’s of years. Passed through transmission from master to student they are now more accessible than ever before. In my novice attempt to give them honor I can only bow to the profound influence and potent energy they have brought to my life. They have opened me to a devotion I have never known. With a humble heart and my sincere intention I offer my westernized version of these ancient prayers that they might touch the hearts of many, bring healing where needed and contribute their power to the wave of awakening that is happening on this planet. With all my love may we strive to live with our hearts wide open!
